Measure where it sits.
Wrap a tape around the place your underwear waistband naturally rests. Keep it level and comfortably close—not aspirationally tight.

Choose your usual fit.
Stay true to size for the intended close fit. Size up if you prefer more room through the waistband and leg.

Choose the smaller size for a closer fit, or the larger size for a little more ease through the waistband and leg.
